Liberty Bell Chalet – Authentic Italian (Italian Owners) – The original restaurant was located in Hurley WI and was an landmark for decades. They have relocated to a more remote spot off of Hwy 51 north of Mercer. El Dorado Mexican Restaurant – Mexican – This restaurant is owned and is primarily staffed by Hispanic workers. The food arrives quickly, is served in large portions, and tastes great! Historical – Little Bohemia Lodge – Little Bohemia Lodge is a resort and supper club visited by the notorious John Dillinger. In the 1920’s, Dillinger was cornered by the FBI at this restaurant and a deadly shoot-out began. Dillinger evaded the FBI at this encounter but an innocent person was shot. The owners have preserved the building as it was right after the shoot-out. So, while visiting, make sure to see the bullet holes in the siding and the windows (now preserved in plexiglass). – http://littlebohemialodge.com/
